Ty Gwynfe House
Ty Gwynfe currently caters for three adults with learning disabilities within the ages of 18 – 64 which is their home for life or as long as the home can continue to meet their needs. If any of our service users become ill and require nursing care we will do our utmost to accommodate the situation but if the nursing care assessment become too complex for our staff to meet, the service user will have to be placed at a placement that would best meet all of their needs.
All clients have their own lockable rooms with an individual secure drawer to keep their small personal possessions. When family and friends visit they can use the dining room or living room to discuss private matters with our service users. Family and friends are always made welcome and are offered a meal or refreshments we normally encourage visitations between 0930 - 1900.
Our service users share communal areas such as the:
Activity Room - Computer/Play Station Games and a portable TV for all to view.
Dining Room - where we encourage all our service users and staff to sit together during all meal
times this enhances the family values we strive for but also creates an opportunity
for social integration.
Living Room - suitably furnished with a 3/2 piece suite, nest of coffee tables, TV (Sky) and
Video.
Garden area - The rear garden, which consists of a large lawn, patio area & garden shed there is
also a large car parking facility at the side of the house which can accommodate
