Effective Communication in the Care Home

This practical course is designed to give care staff a greater awareness when communicating with service users, visitors and other workers. The course examines the individuality and identity of the service user and the importance of maintaining this. Delegates will explore the importance of what makes communication effective and in addition and they will be able to recognise how they currently communicate. Delegates will develop skills and strategies to increase their communication skills and their effectiveness.
